For your last two nights, as there are no camping facilities near Newcastle, we accommodate you in a Barn Conversion on a working Farm. This is located next to the Trail, just outside the last village before reaching the outskirts of the big city.
So you're accommodated in this rural location for the night before your last walking day along the riverside into Wallsend and on completion of your walk, you return here for a relaxing final night, with a choice of two village pubs to congratulate yourselves in.
You may be sleeping in a bunkbed, however you will have a room that's exclusive to your own group (and there's also the facility to have an arrangement of rooms solely for male or female occupancy). Beyond that, there's a kitchen and sitting room (with Internet access) for use by residents.
"Thought we\'d died and gone to heaven when we got to the bunkhouse. Paula was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for her."
