Camping Along the Wall

Camping along Hadrian's Wall is limited to a handful of locations, however we make good use of what there is. On our standard Adventure Trek, we set up camp in those places that are near to the Trail, at logical stopping points, as well as other amenities and facilities.

The Tents we use are rugged Oztents, which come in varying sizes and combinations, tailored for the individual needs of those on the Treks. So it could be a tent just for you as an individual, you and your partner, or you and your friends.

Each tent has a flysheet attached for sitting under, which is outside the sleeping compartment and there's a wind-up lantern inside the sleeping compartment itself. Each person has their own campbed and safari chair.

Camps are set up for when you arrive, dismantled and moved with your baggage, to be waiting all set-up again at your next location. All campsites have toilet and shower facilities.

For those who like the idea of preparing their own meals rather than making use of what may be on offer locally, we can provide Camping Gas Cookers, as well as Pans and Tableware, for a small hire charge.
